The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) has confirmed the upcoming fashion and market week schedules for New York.

The Spring 2012 collections will be shown from Thursday, September 8 through Thursday, September 15, 2011. The Fall 2012 collections will be shown Thursday, February 9 through Thursday, February 16, 2012.

New York’s Spring and Fall shows always commence on the second Thursday in September and the second Thursday in February and kick off the global calendar of Fashion Weeks, and are immediately followed by Fashion Weeks in London, Milan, and Paris.

Resort 2011 collections are scheduled Monday, June 6 through Friday, June 17, 2011 and, as in past resort seasons, designers are asked to contain their shows in this two week period.

The Council of Fashion Designers of America, Inc, (CFDA) is a not-for-profit trade association that leads industry-wide initiatives and whose membership consists of more than 370 of America’s foremost womenswear, menswear, jewelry, and accessory designers.
